Heage Village

Heage-based dance group the Heage Windmillers have danced their way to first place in an international competition.

Two teams of dancers walked away with top honours in the youth and junior sections of the at the Dancing England Rapper Tournament.

It was the first time they had entered the competition, which involves five dancers connected by flexible two-handled swords weaving around one another. The dance hails from the north.
