Scouts in Heage are suffering after a valuable piece of their equipment was stolen.
A large white trailer box was taken from the group's storage site in the village earlier this month and it is still missing.
The box was stolen between the end of April and May 19th. Security locks which were fixed to the trailer were removed and it was towed away from the site.
The police have been informed.
The distinctive trailer is signed with the Scout logo and the logo for the Heage Scout group. It was used to transport camping equipment.
Sharon Coope from the group said: "It took a year of fundraising to buy the trailer, which we can not now do until it is replaced or returned."
