Do you want to help the Carnival without moving?  Without attending meetings? and without doing anything on the day but enjoying it?

The Heage & Nether Heage Carnival is taking place on Saturday 19th June 2010.  Starting at 12:30pm with a procession from the Windmill up to the Carnival site on the Thomas William Playing Fields.

The day will be officially opened by John Tams at 1:15pm on the Amber Sound FM stage where he will also crown this year's Carnival Queen.

You can now help by donating online to the carnival cause.  Any amount is welcome and gratefully received - the standard paypal fee's will be taken off (3%+20p), but the rest will be deposited in the Carnival Bank Account to help this event continue in years to come.

Entry to the Carnival is completely FREE as are all the kids zone items including Pinxton Puppets, Inflatables & other rides.

The Dancing Diggers will be doing displays in the main arena along with the Vanessa Millar Dance School and the Heage Windmillers.  The 95th Rifles will be in attendance as will the Rally Car Club, Vintage Tractors, Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Demonstrations.  Amber Sound FM will be doing an outside broadcast all day from the site.

You will also have the chance to win a balloon ride with Holtams who will be taking off from the site at the end of the day (weather permitting).
